Helping people

School clothes shopping with our teenage grandaughter was fun. Scarlett has a great style all her own. While waiting for Scarlett to finish trying on clothes, a young lady was met with a fashion dilema. She mentioned to her friend that at the high school you cannot bare your shoulders. I complemented her on her pretty dress and said that a "bolo sweater" would make a great cover up. Yes, she agreed and asked the clerk for one. And he said that it was a perfect solution and they both thanked me. I did mention that I was a model a few years back and that I work as a background actor on television and movies.  Scarlett came over and the young ladis friend said that she recognized Scarlett from our old neighborhood. They chatted for a bit and we all happily went our separate ways. Helping people is so gratifying. You never know when what you learned years ago would make someone happy.
