Many, many years ago people from all over the world created a lot of things that we use today. You just might be one of them that we would see, hear, read, cook or use.

Mr. Walt Disney's favorite color was...blue. That was answered by Mr. Walt Disney in a 1964 interview. However, I heard he liked the color red too! What is your favorite color?
Congratulations! On July 17th, 1955 Mr. Walt Disney created The Happiest Place on Earth! Disneyland Theme Park! Happy Anniversary!
Today is Flag Day. Mr. Walt Disney did it right! Commemorating with honoring our wonderful brave Veteran's, Mr. Walt Disney did something special so we could have Flag Day everyday. Honoring Americas Veterans with the afternoon Flag Ceremony always makes my heart swell with pride.
July 17, 1955 was the inauguration day at the Disneyland Railroad. (DRR)
$240,000 to build the live steam railway. Mr. Walt Disney loved the railroad and trains as a child and carried thru his adulthood. Quote, Mr. Disney "I just want Disneyland to look like nothing else in the world. and it should be surrounded by a train." Walter Elias Disney was born on December 5, 1901 in Chicago Illinois. A pioneer in the world of Animation. "All Aboard!" From 1955 - 1966 we could go into a tall building in Disneyland find ourselves sitting in chairs and shoom off to the moon we went!
From 1967 - 1975 is was refurbished and renamed Flight To The Moon! Now there talking about going to the Moon again. Better than before. If you have a dream in working in Aeronautics I wish you all the best! Mr. Walt Disney was born in 1901. He did a lot and created a lot.
Mr. Disney won 22 Academy Awards, that's nothing to sneeze at, right "Sneezy!" Just imagining this: Daisy Duck calls Minnie each day to talk about recipes and share ideas of how to make use of the time as we all do Safer-At-Home.
This idea today from Daisy was to organize your pantry and to make a list of what ingredients you need for the desserts you'll be baking. Having the list saves you from making another trip to the grocery store and keeps you safe at home! Daisy has to have the favorite cookies for Donald Duck. Sometimes (as you know) Donald can loose his temper when things aren't just right like not having his favorite cookie. Happy baking! Thinking of the fun times at Disneyland and doing this...Minnie Mouse said:
Keep Calm and Keep Your Bow On Color a picture of your favorite Disney Character and share it with someone in the house! Say "Yes" to Christmas in Spring! Say no to Postpones! Let's all move Christmas in July this year to Christmas in Spring!
Decorate a tree or a tree branch with positive word tags. Play fun Christmas music to dance or exercise by. Watch a family favorite like, "Frosty the Snowman." Make a Christmas in Spring Card for someone in the house or to mail to someone! Bake a batch of Spring styled cookies, maybe a flower with a star on top! Place under "A Giving Tree" a box or bag of gently used toys or clothes that are all disinfected to give to your favorite donation organization when we are able. Say "Yes" to Christmas in Spring! You'll be glad that you did and say no to Postpones! |
