In 1932 at the age of 8, Sir George Martin took only eight piano lessons because he had an argument with his mother and teacher. Young George said he just picked it up by himself.
1943 at the age of 17 he joined the Fleet Air Army of the Royal Navy and became an aerial observer. The war ended. George Martin met with Brian Epstein who wanted Mr. Martin to sign with the Beatles. June 6, 1962 in Studio three at Abbey Road Studios. After meeting with John, Paul and George separately; Sir George Martin said that he would sign for their wit alone.
