"Everything will be alright, you just need to study more. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. Remember the Golden Rule." Remembering my teachers saying those things to our grade school class at Denali Elementary School in Anchorage, Alaska in the 1950's..
Teachers are the best! They are their to help, console, make you think and tell you to use your imagination. You go in the month of September and school is over in the month of May and something has happened. You're not the same person as you were...your teacher taught. Taught you a lot about your strengths and weaknesses. You gave your teacher a Christmas present or a birthday present and was received with a smile and a thank you. And their you leave in the month of May with a final good bye and a teachers proudest moment, sending you off to your next grade with a smile and maybe a tear. I have been so fortunate to have been able to volunteer in our children's and grandchild's classrooms over the years and witness this first hand. Just to wonderful. Remembering my teachers from grade school helps me to be a better person. Say, teacher can you peel my orange for me? Thank you.
